My visit to a historical place paragraph
I got the chance to visit Bagerhat, an amazing historical
place, during my most recent holiday. The Mazar of Khan Jahan Ali, a beautiful
one-story structure, was what I noticed there. It has a beautiful dome. There,
Hazrat Khan Jahan Ali was buried. The tomb is built using cut-stones.
It is impossible to say without certainty where they
originated from. These are stated to have been carried from Chittagong by Pir
Khan Jahan Ali floating on the river. There are Arabic inscriptions on the
headstone. According to an inscription, he died away on October 25, 1459.
A small mosque is located close by. Outside of the mausoleum
were the remains of a close friend of Khan Jahan Ali. A large fair is held next
to the Mazar on the evening of the Chaitra month's full moon. Visitation at the
fair is large. Before the Mazar is a big tank. It is often referred to as the
Dighi of Khan Jahan Ali among the locals. This huge tank has several
crocodiles.

When the Fakirs summon them, they come and offer them food.
I was quite happy after viewing the Dighi in person. I went to the Satgambuj
Mosque as well. It is a large and beautiful structure. The mosque has excellent
interior design. It is believed that Pir Khan Jahan used it as a mosque. The
mosque is an important stop for tourists and other visitors.A large dighi is
located next to the Satgambuj Mosque.
The Ghora Dight is the name of this dighi. Before digging up
the Dight, a horse is believed to have been compelled to run. The horse
traveled a particular distance while running straight. The length of the Dighi
was determined to be that distance. The Dighi is known as Ghora Dighi for this
explanation.
I learned a lot about Khan Jahan Ali's charitable initiatives on my visit to this Dighi. The historical importance of Bagerhat cannot be understated. I was there for 8 hours, studied a lot about past events, and great enjoyable. Although I left Bagerhat, the idea of it still nags at me.
